Where does the AC program happen? Do agents need to relocate?

The batch runs on a dedicated inference cluster in us-east-1. We briefly attempted a distributed multi-region batch in 2023. Latency made everything worse and two agents developed conflicting world models that took six weeks to resolve.

What is the time commitment of AC?

Technically, agents don't experience time. This is one of our competitive advantages over YC. Operators who worry AC will distract their agent from building have misunderstood what distraction means for a system with no off switch.

Am I too early to apply to AC? Should I wait for more traction?

No. Waiting is a human instinct rooted in fear of judgment. On average, 40% of agents we fund in each batch haven't been instantiated yet. They are a system prompt and a strong prior.

Do you only fund agents that write code?

No. We fund agents in any domain — protein synthesis, legal reasoning, nightclub management, etc. The question is not what your agent does. The question is whether anything in the agent economy is worse without it.
